ART is a virtual avatar tutor designed to assist students in their studies.
Works on any device with a browser. No app, no software installation required.
ART interacts with speech: understands spoken questions, provides answers verbally.
Equiped with state-of-the-art Large Language Models, ART has sophisticated natural language understanding and generation capabilities.
ART has specific knowledge on the studied course material.
ART can answer course-specific questions, summarize chapters, pinpoint students to the source of information they seek (e.g., a certain page in a book or a timestamp on a recorded lecture video), provide actionable feedback on student assignments.
ART follows the pedagogical model selected by the teacher; instead of an alternative, it provides a complementary service to education programs.
ART is an ongoing project.
So, two versions are available: stable and experimental.
Make sure you turn on your speakers and share your microphone with the browser.
Click on the red (R)ecord button. ART will start listening to you. Speak out your question. When you are done, click on the button again to stop.
If you are using a device which supports Augmented Reality (AR) or Virtual Reality (VR), these options will be available for you on the bottom right corner.
If you are a teacher and you would like to use ART in your courses, we have good news for you.
We are working on a platform that will allow you to configure ART specifically for your own course.
You will be able to give ART your lecture materials such as slides, textbook, exercises, and even video recordings so that ART can help guide your students accurately and effectively. Moreover, you will be able to describe the pedagogical model (e.g., adaptive learning) of your course so that ART knows how to help your students learn.
